I’ve known Cecília for a few years and when I found out I was pregnant Cecília was quick to offer me advice and to be a friendly face to keep me calm! It was very last minute (literally on the day I was in labour) that we decided to call on Cecília due to complications and a long induction. Cecília dropped everything to come and be with me and honestly I couldn’t have done it without her. I know 100% that without Cecília I would of had a c-section under general anaesthetic. Instead, with her support I was able to birth my baby without a c-section. I will be eternally grateful for the support, courage, and love you gave us on that day. We could not have done it without you, seeing you cry with us when our baby was finally with us meant so much to us and just shows how much love and how genuine you are about what you do. Thank you. We love you and thank you for still being here for me every day!!!

After a fairly traumatic first birth, I wanted to make some positive changes second time around, which included finding a doula for support. We were lucky enough to find two amazing doulas, including Ceci, and I felt very comfortable with her from the very first phone call! Ceci was an amazing support throughout my pregnancy, whether in person, or via whatsapp with my endless queries! Which allowed me to release the fears of my first birth and accept that this would be a completely different experience. And it was! I had a wonderful, drug-free, calm, home water birth. It was amazing. Ceci was there to encourage me throughout and hold my hand when I needed it. I couldn’t have done it otherwise. An experience I’ll always treasure and be grateful for, thank you Ceci!

Amazing loving person! We met with Cecilia several times before the birth to discuss helpful information about labour and birth and to get to know my fears and expectations. I am not sure I would have had such a positive birth experience without her! Even my husband was relieved she was there with us. She knew exactly how to help me in the difficult moments. She provided calm support through breathing techniques, position ideas, encouragement and massage. Cecilia's support definitely helped make the experience more calm, comfortable and empowering. I was able to trust her completely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for additional support pre, post and during the birth.

Ceci was our doula for our second. We had had a really positive experience using a doula for our first when living abroad so wanted to repeat the experience even though back in the NHS & Midwife led experience. My approach to birth was pretty middle of the road - I didn’t want to hypnobirth but I wanted to be prepared and empowered to try avoid an epidural. I liked Ceci immediately and felt she would be a positive and uplifting person to have around in labour and I was right . She understood what we wanted and helped us get the birth we wanted. She was calmly supportive the whole way through labour. Labour progressed well with just gas & air so I couldn’t even be bothered to get in the birthing pool at the end. Ceci was there the whole time to provide extra reassurance as I needed it. It actually was brilliant to have her on hand in the few hours post birth to help out as well.
